1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to Great Discount Place (“GDP”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Great Discount Place mobile application and website (“Platform”).

By accessing, registering, or using our Platform, you:

  • Confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement 
  • Agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy (which forms an integral part of this Agreement) 
  • Consent to receive communications (including SMS/email) related to your account and transactions 

If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

2. NATURE OF SERVICES

Great Discount Place is a technology platform that connects users with merchants/partners offering the best discounts on products and services.

  • GDP does not own, sell, or provide the services listed 
  • All services are fulfilled directly by merchants/partners 
  • Discounts apply on the final bill (excluding taxes unless specified) 
  • GDP follows a “one deal / one bill” model, including group bookings 

GDP operates as an O2O (Online-to-Offline) facilitator platform.

3. ELIGIBILITY
  • Users must be 18 years or older 
  • Minors may use the Platform only under parental/guardian supervision 
  • GDP reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation 
4. USER ACCOUNT & RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information 
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account 
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account 

You must not:

  • Use false identity or fraudulent information 
  • Engage in unlawful or abusive conduct 
  • Misuse deals, coupons, or platform features 
5. PAYMENTS, PACKAGE DEALS (SUBSCRIPTIONS) & eWALLET

5.1 Pay As You Go

  • INR 49 per discount deal fee 
  • Applicable across all categories 
  • Valid for individual and group bookings 

5.2 Package Deals (Subscriptions)

Upon subscribing, all discount deal fees become FREE for the duration of the package.

  • Applicable across all categories and cities 

5.3 Cashback

  • INR 100 cashback upon app download 
  • No expiry 
  • Can be used for Package Deals (Subscriptions) or deal fees 

5.4 Referral Program

  • INR 10 cashback per successful referral 
  • No limits on referrals 

5.5 GDP eWallet

  • Can be used for: 
    • Discount Deal fees 
    • Package Deals (Subscriptions) 
  • Allows instant transfers between GDP users 
  • Non-withdrawable & restricted to GDP ecosystem usage only
6. MERCHANTS/PARTNERS TERMS
  • Merchants/partners are independent entities 
  • Responsible for: 
    • Service quality 
    • Pricing 
    • Honouring discounts 
  • GDP does not guarantee merchant/partner performance 

In case of disputes:

  • Users may raise complaints 
  • GDP may assist but is not liable for outcomes
7. DEAL REDEMPTION
  • Deals must be redeemed at merchants/partners’ physical locations 
  • User must present: 
    • SMS confirmation and the coupon code 
  • Discounts apply on: 
    • Final bill (group bookings applicable)
    • Excluding taxes (unless specified) 
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

GDP shall not be liable for:

  • Service quality or disputes with merchants/partners 
  • Personal injury or damages during service usage 
  • Losses arising from: 
    • Platform errors 
    • Downtime 
    • Unauthorized access 
    • Third-party actions 

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

9. PANIC BUTTON FEATURE
  • Users may register up to 5 emergency contacts 
  • On activation: 
    • SMS alerts with GPS location are sent 

Users agree:

  • To use the feature only in genuine emergencies 
  • GDP is not liable for misuse or consequences 
10. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users must not:

  • Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content 
  • Promote drugs, illegal goods, or unlawful services 
  • Engage in fraud or misrepresentation 
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems 
  • Violate any applicable law in India 
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Platform is owned by GDP.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license.

Any feedback submitted becomes property of GDP without compensation.

12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

GDP is not responsible for:

  • External websites 
  • Third-party content 
  • External privacy practices
13. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

GDP does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

  • Modify services 
  • Suspend access 
  • Discontinue features 

Without prior notice.

14. DATA USAGE

User data is handled as per the Privacy Policy and may be used for:

  • Service delivery 
  • Communication 
  • Marketing (with consent) 
15. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify GDP against any:

  • Claims 
  • Losses 
  • Legal costs 

Arising from misuse of the Platform.

16. TERMINATION

GDP may suspend or terminate accounts:

  • For violations 
  • For legal compliance 
  • At its discretion 
17. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

Terms may be updated at any time.

Continued usage = acceptance of revised Terms

18. DISCLAIMER
  • Services provided “as-is” 
  • No guarantees on: 
    • Accuracy 
    • Availability 
    • Merchant/partner services 
19. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Agreement is governed by Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

  • Disputes resolved via arbitration 
  • Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India 
  • Sole arbitrator
